The Director of Development, School of Medicine, identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift prospects ($100,000 and above) for Duke University School of Medicine, with a primary focus on School of Medicine alumni. The Director of Development reports to the Assistant Vice President, School of Medicine leaders and colleagues, Duke Health Development and Alumni Affairs colleagues, and other Duke University departments on donor engagement strategy and initiatives.

Staff Assistant - Individual Giving - Requisition #262118
Provide high-level administrative support to assigned team members of the Individual Giving team on a wide range of issues, including complex issues, identify viable options and communicate options to the pertinent individuals; when appropriate, implement solutions. Work independently to manage projects assigned. Provide administrative management and coordination for the assigned functions. Maintain confidential files and information, demonstrating sound judgment when dealing with leadership, personnel, donor information and sensitive issues concerning prospects and donors.
