At Duke Health, each of us plays a role in something bigger than any one job or title.

Now, there is an opportunity for team members to make an even greater impact by coming together to support the MADE FOR THIS: All in for Duke Health campaign. 

This is the first employee giving effort in Duke Health's 100-year history. We are taking a powerful step to build a culture of generosity that starts with us. Every contribution matters and tells a story about who we are as a team.

All in for Duke Health means giving at any amount – because what matters most is that we lead by example and create a shared responsibility to give back to the critical work we do to support our patients, our students, our community, and each other. You can choose how you want to participate and where you want your dollars to make a difference at Duke Health.

CHOOSE YOUR GIFT

When you make a one-time gift to Duke Health, Duke can put those dollars to work instantly, making an immediate impact for the vital programs and people you choose you support. One-time gifts can be made via cash, credit card, or check, or you can make gifts or cryptocurrency or stocks. Choose whatever fits best for you.

An easy way to show you support, Duke employees can make charitable contributions to the university and health system by payroll deduction through Duke@Work under MyPay. Payroll deductions can also be made monthly, providing reliable and sustainable support that can be put to work where it is needed most.

How to setup a payroll deduction gift:

  • Log onto Duke@Work and navigate to My Info. Find Manage my Payroll Gift Deductions to Duke or Doing Good located under My Pay.
  • Scroll past the instructions until you reach Giving to Duke.
  • Select whether you want to deduct a set amount from every paycheck (New Recurring) or make a one-time gift from any upcoming paycheck (New One Time).
  • A new window will open. Complete the fields.
  • Input how much you wish to give each paycheck.
  • To select the fund where you want your deduction to go, click the symbol of the small square on top of the large square. Scroll to find the fund you wish to support and select the radio button to the left of the fund name.
    • Suggested Duke Health greatest need fund options:
      • Duke Health Patient Care Fund 204200007
      • Duke Health Innovation Fund 399000768
      • DUHS Caring for Each Other Fund 204200020
  • ​​Select the paycheck date for your one-time gift or the paycheck date range (first pay date and last pay date) for your recurring gift. To make a recurring donation with no end date, use 12/31/9999 as the last pay date.
  • Click OK. Review for accuracy and then click Save Changes
  • Repeat the process if you wish to make gifts to additional funds.
