Every day, Duke Health team members show up for each other, for our patients, for our students, and for the future. Together, we discover breakthroughs, educate the next generation of healthcare providers, and serve patients in our community and around the world. Now, there is an opportunity for team members to make an even greater impact by coming together to support ALL IN for Duke Health, our first-ever employee giving campaign.
ALL IN for Duke Health is launching December 1 for all Duke Health employees! From December 1-14, team members are invited to join in the season of generosity and make an even greater impact on Duke Health.
ALL IN for Duke Health is about building a culture of gratitude and shared purpose across our organization. Every act of participation helps tell the story of who we are as a team and demonstrates our commitment to the missions we advance every day.
How you can be ALL IN for Duke Health
There are many ways to be ALL IN for Duke Health! Throughout the campaign, team members can participate in four ways:
Stop by a pop-up event or participate in contests or activities. Confirmed pop-up dates and locations are below:
- December 1, Duke University Hospital Atrium, 11am-1pm
- December 3, Duke Raleigh, Duke Raleigh Café (in South Pavilion), 11am-2pm
- December 7, School of Medicine, bridge from CaRL building to hospital, 11am-2pm
- December 10, Duke Regional (tentative, location pending)
- December 14, Duke Central Tower, 11am-1pm
- Date and location pending – School of Nursing
Experience generosity in action by volunteering at, participating in, or donating to fundraising events including:
- Duke Cancer Patient Support Program Tree of Hope (December 3)
- The MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Children’s (December 8-9)
- Duke Health Development and Alumni Affairs Thank-a-thon (February 11, 2027)
- Angels Among Us 5K and Walk for Hope (April 27, 2027)

The Duke Health Patient Assistance Fund supports patients navigating social barriers to medical care, such as housing, food, and transportation insecurity and sourcing affordable medication options.
The DUHS Caring for Each Other fund supports Duke University Health System team members experiencing emergency needs.

One-Time Gift
When you make a one-time gift to Duke Health, Duke can put those dollars to work instantly, making an immediate impact for the vital programs and people you choose to support. One-time gifts can be made via cash, credit card, or check, or you can make gifts or cryptocurrency or stocks. Choose whatever fits best for you.

Payroll Deduction
An easy way to show your support, Duke employees can make charitable contributions to the university and health system by payroll deduction through Duke@Work under MyPay. Payroll deductions can also be made monthly, providing reliable and sustainable support that can be put to work where it is needed most.
Get started at this link and follow the instructions below for a step-by-step guide.
How to setup a payroll deduction gift:
- Scroll past the instructions until you reach Giving to Duke.
- Select whether you want to deduct a set amount from every paycheck (New Recurring) or make a one-time gift from any upcoming paycheck (New One Time).
- A new window will open. Complete the fields.
- Input how much you wish to give each paycheck.
- To select the fund where you want your deduction to go, click the symbol of the small square on top of the large square. Scroll to find the fund you wish to support and select the radio button to the left of the fund name.
- Suggested fund options:
- DUHS Caring for Each Other Fund 204200020
- Duke Health Patient Care Fund 204200007
- School of Medicine Annual Fund for Research 1131035-RF
- Any fund of your choice
- Select the paycheck date for your one-time gift or the paycheck date range (first pay date and last pay date) for your recurring gift. To make a recurring donation with no end date, use 12/31/9999 as the last pay date.
- Click OK. Review for accuracy and then click Save Changes
- Repeat the process if you wish to make gifts to additional funds.
